Thunderbolts Filming Start Date Revealed!

Like DC has its Suicide Squad, Marvel also boasts a group of totally dysfunctional anti-heroes: the Thunderbolts. The film starring the new MCU team will arrive in theaters in 2024. According to the latest rumors, filming should begin in June.

That a project on the Thunderbolts was boiling in the pot was well known. For years there had been talking of the possibility of seeing this super group on the big screen but only at San Diego Comic-Con 2022 did the first confirmations arrive from Kevin Feige himself who announced the film as the final title of phase 5.

While the first rumors are circulating that Henry Cavill will appear as a villain in Thunderbolts, finally we know something more about the shooting of the film that will begin next June. According to reports, filming should take place during the second half of 2023, to ensure the release by 2024. The film will see for the first time in the center a team made up of characters of dubious morality capable of “getting their hands dirty”. The announcement of the complete team (or almost) came during the September D23 between confirmations (Florence Pugh and Wyatt Russell) and unpredictable surprises (Sebastian Stan and David Harbour).

Also in 2024, the fourth chapter of the Captain America saga will arrive in theaters, starring Anthony Mackie who will take on the role of the stars and stripes hero for the first time on the big screen.
