The Mandalorian 3 Starts Off Great: Perfect Score On Rotten Tomatoes!

This morning the first episode of The Mandalorian 3 finally made its debut on Disney Plus, the acclaimed show from the Star Wars universe that returned to the small screen two years after the second season.

The last sighting of Mando and Grogu dated back to The Book of Boba Fett, the spin-off that hosted the beloved duo for a couple of episodes. But how was this premiere received? Quite positively, at least according to Rotten Tomatoes.

The site revealed that The Mandalorian Season 3 debuted with a 100% rating based on 12 total reviews at the time of writing. Hard to do better.

A 7% increase from previous seasons, both with a 93% rating. The audience score for this premiere is 92%, more in line with its predecessors, which have a combined average audience score of 91.5%.

Who knows if the third season of The Mandalorian will be able to surpass the incredible result of Andor, the prequel series to Rogue One which scored 96% out of more than 500 ratings last year. The other Star Wars series of 2022, or the aforementioned The Book of Boba Fett, instead collected 66% positive evaluations from critics and 55% from the public.
