Superman: Legacy, the Title of the First Dc Universe Film Revealed! ‘it’s Not an Origin Story’
James Gunn has kept his promise: the president of DC Studios had spoken of big announcements to be made regarding the development of the newborn franchise, and the promised announcements arrived starting from the most awaited of all, namely the one concerning the first film of post-Henry Cavill Superman.
After denying the rumors about Jacob Elordi as Superman of the DC Universe, James Gunn and Peter Safran have unveiled the title of the upcoming film: it will be called Superman: Legacy, as revealed by the director of Guardians of the Galaxy and his colleague just a few minutes ago.
“ These early projects are a bit of an amuse bouche to what we will see in Superman: Legacy. James is busy writing and obviously, we hope he will direct it. It will not be an origin story, it will focus more on Superman struggling with maintaining the “balance between his Kryptonian origins and his being raised as an Earthling. Superman represents truth and justice. He’s good in a world where being good is old-fashioned,” said Peter Safran.
No news yet, of course, regarding the new face of Clark Kent: for this, presumably, we will have to wait a little longer. Meanwhile, James Gunn may have unveiled the comic that will inspire Superman: Legacy!
