SOLO – A STAR WARS STORY, RON HOWARD – ‘A SEQUEL? ONLY THE FANS TALK ABOUT IT

Solo: A Star Wars Story was one of the most unfortunate chapters of this new course of the franchise: the film with Alden Ehrenreich in the role of young Han was not received in a particularly enthusiastic way by critics and fans, but despite this, a good number of the latter continues to wonder when and if we will ever see a sequel.
After the words of the screenwriter of Solo on the possible sequel, the question is now addressed by the director Ron Howard himself, who is not, however, a harbinger of good news in this sense: the ex-star of Happy Days, in fact, claims that at the moment there would be no discussions underway by Lucasfilm, and in any case, the operation does not seem to be of interest to the production.
Right now the only discussions about a Solo sequel that I know of are happening among fans. I don’t think it’s a Lucasfilm priority, as far as I know. […] There are still a lot of great characters already launched, and those at Lucasfilm love the fans and really listen to them, so never say never. However, I’m not aware of any plans to delve into the story or to bring that group of characters back into the picture, ” Howard said.
