Shazam! 2: Would Lucy Liu Return To Direct A Superhero Project After Luke Cage?

Shazam! will hit theaters in a few days! Fury of the Gods, the new DC cine-comic will see the return of Zachary Levi as the iconic hero after the first chapter of 2019.
In the film, we will meet the daughters of Atlas, played by Helen Mirren (Hesperia), Rachel Zegler (Anthea), and Lucy Liu (Kalypso), who recently answered some questions related to his career as a director. In addition to having directed several episodes of Graceland, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and Elementary, Liu has already worked in the world of fine comics, as director of the first episode of the second season of Luke Cage.
But would the actress like to direct a superhero project again in the future? Here’s what he said in his recent ComicBook interview: “I wouldn’t mind getting back behind the camera, but it should be for good reason because it takes so much time and energy and you know, you have to put everything into it,” Liu shared. “I think it’s a commitment that requires 10,000% of your strength and there are so many things that can be done in the world of comics, you know, so yeah, I would never say no, I would consider it”.
To greet you, we leave you with the latest statements from the director of Shazam! Fury of the Gods and we remind you that the film will arrive in Italian cinemas on March 16th.
