Oliver Glasner leaves the back door open
Oliver Glasner has contradicted rumors about an early departure from Eintracht Frankfurt – but left a back door open.
“I still have the contract until 2024 and it’s a lot of fun here,” said the Austrian on Radio FFH: “But I’ve been in football for so long that I find it difficult to say that it’s definitely the case – but I intend to do that, of course.”
Looking ahead to the rest of the season,
the Europa League winner’s coach doesn’t want to prioritize any competition.
Eintracht is fourth in the league, meets local rivals Darmstadt 98 in the DFB Cup round of 16,
and faces Italian leaders SSC Napoli in the first knockout round of the Champions League.
