New job for ex-Schalke Wagner?

David Wagner is apparently on the list with the Canaries. The 51-year-old is one of four candidates to succeed Smith, according to The Athletic. The successor will be presented next week.
Norwich City is looking for a new head coach, and the club is apparently also looking to Germany. A well-known name in England is traded.
Will a German coach again at Norwich City?
The English second-division side is on the hunt for a new head coach after Dean Smith was sacked just before the end of 2022. The trial also leads to a German candidate.
Wagner was already an England successful
The German should have a double advantage over his competitors. Wagner has already proven his ability to lead a club into the Premier League.
He was on the touchline at Huddersfield Town from 2015 to 2019 and helped the club gain promotion to the first division in 2017.
There he even managed to stay up in the league in his first season,
but in the second season Wagner had to resign and Huddersfield got relegated.

Memories of Daniel Farke
And Norwich, too, is known to have had good experiences with a German coach. Daniel Farke even managed to get promoted twice with the club but was released in 2021 after there were signs of renewed descent.
The goal of promotion is currently in danger at Norwich, they are already 14 points behind a direct promotion place, and the club is currently only seventh in the championship.
However, Wagner’s previous positions were less successful, with Schalke 04 and BSC Young Boys Bern both letting him go. He has been without a club since March 2022.
With Tim Walter from Hamburger SV, another German was recently brought into play by the Daily Mail as a possible Norwich coach.
