With the release of the colorful key arts, Disney announced the new “
Chip and Chap ” series at Disney + yesterday. Accordingly, the first season will appear
on July 28th and will be titled ”
Chip and Chap: Life in the Park “. The highlight: Each of the initial 12 episodes will be divided into three short stories that show the two iconic troublemakers in action
. In contrast to many other projects that Disney and Co. currently have in store for all kids, “Chip and Chap: Life in the Park” is finally back with a classically drawn instead of an animated look.
In the new series, Chip and Chap have to find their way into a new home. The two friends just want to have a good life in a large city park – but a new adventure lurks around every corner. The key art already reveals it: Mickey’s best friend Pluto will also take on a role in “Chip and Chap: Life in the Park”. According to the first information, even more, Disney favorites should get an appearance.
As usual, episode 1 will be published on July 28th, with new adventures on a weekly basis. Jean Cayrol was responsible for the direction, while the background music was provided by Vincent Artaud (both “ Oggy & the Cockroaches“). By the way, there are no dialogues: Each of the seven-minute short stories relies exclusively on non-verbal narratives.
