Manchester United forward Greenwood withdrew from Euro 2020

Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood will miss the 2020 UEFA European Championship, according to the England press office.

The 19-year-old has previously entered the preliminary squad of the national team for the European Championship. The striker decided to skip the tournament in order to fully recover from his injury.

At Euro 2020, England will play against Poland, Wales and Slovakia. The European Championship will take place from 11 June to 11 July. Last season Greenwood played 31 matches for Manchester United and scored 7 goals.
