MAN OF STEEL 2, WARNER REJECTED THE PROJECT AFTER THE ARRIVAL OF GUNN AND SAFRAN?

The return of Henry Cavill as Superman represented the realization of a dream for many DC fans who had long hoped for an about-face from the (almost ex) star of The Witcher: Cavill’s reinstatement in the franchise, however, did not automatically imply the making of a Man of Steel 2.

Also welcomed with joy by Amy Adams, the return of Henry Cavill has in fact immediately fueled the rumors about the arrival of a sequel to Zack Snyder‘s film: however, the thing seems to have found no evidence, with some rumors that, on the contrary, speak of a Warner Bros. Discovery far from well disposed towards the project after the arrival of James Gunn and Peter Safran at the head of the newborn DC Studios.

The latest rumors go even further: quite insistent rumors speak of a draft script for Man of Steel 2 that would have been presented to the top of the production, who however would have rejected the idea in the hope of one day receiving “a better proposal “. In short, the Man of Steel is always a rather cumbersome topic of discussion in the Warner house: not everyone, however, seems to be well disposed towards him.

Where will the truth be? Do Gunn and Safran want to divest themselves of the defunct SnyderVerse for good, or are they simply waiting for better offers? We will only find out by living! Meanwhile, it seems that Steven Knight also worked on Man of Steel 2 before the project was rejected.
