Kate Moss, Ellie Bamber Will Play the Model in the New Biopic

Ellie Bamber, best known for her starring role in the TV series Willow, will play model Kate Moss in a new biopic. The title of the film should be Moss and Freud and the plot should focus on the supermodel’s decision to pose nude for the artist Lucian Freud.
The role of Freud should be given to a screen veteran like Derek Jacobi. Kate Moss is actively involved in the project along with writer and director James Lucas.
Here are the supermodel’s first words on the film: “Because this is such a personal story of mine, it was essential to be involved in the project with James [Lucas] in all aspects throughout its development. I am thrilled with the recent casting and thrilled film shooting starts soon, I can’t wait to see it”.
Moss and Freud are supposed to be set in Freud’s London studio, focusing on the artist’s past and the modeling career of Kate Moss.
Freud’s famous photo of Kate Moss took nine months to complete and was subsequently sold in 2005 for nearly $5 million. Moss and Freud established a very deep friendship until the artist death, who passed away in 2011 at the age of 88. Ellie Bamber is known for her role in Jonathan Kasdan’s TV series based on the Ron Howard film and on the site you can find our opinion on Willow.
James Lucas won over Kate Moss with the short film The Phone Call, starring Sally Hawkins, co-written by Lucas with director Matt Kirby and winner of the Academy Award for Best Short Film.
Last year Kate Moss defended Johnny Depp, her historic ex-boyfriend, in the trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard.
