Incredible M3gan: the Creators of Horror Already Working on a New Blumhouse Thriller!

Blumhouse and Atomic Monster intend to continue their fruitful collaboration after the success of M3GAN and are already projected towards the next production, which will be entitled Night Swim. The film will be based on the short film of the same name, with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier star Wyatt Russell heading up the project.

It’s a supernatural thriller that tackles “the hidden source of terror” surrounding a family’s backyard swimming pool, according to Deadline.

Russell is working on the project with Kerry Condon while Bryce McGuire, director of the short film, will also take care of writing and directing the film.
The link between Blumhouse and Atomic Monster could continue profitably after the triumph of the first film; M3GAN’s success also comes from social networks, thanks to TikTok and various reels on Instagram.
Jason Blum spoke in these terms to the New York Times: “I don’t have an idea to turn into a horror film. None. I’ve built a business by recognizing other people’s great ideas”

That’s why the collaboration with James Wan seems perfect. He explained: ‘I have so many ideas, more than I can handle on my own… It allows me to have a bigger canvas to paint on. Universal is very director friendly and brilliant at marketing. they trust you, they give in to you, it makes all the difference”.
