Harley Quinn, New Previews on Season 4: “It Will Explore Ivy More”

As you well know, last September Harley Quinn was officially renewed for a fourth season and Sarah Peters (Workaholics, Master of None, Nathan For You), who has written for the show since the first season, was named executive producer and showrunner.
On the occasion of the release of the new special ” Harley Quinn and Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special”, Patrick Schumacker and Justin Halpern, who will leave the parent series to devote themselves to the show’s spin-offs, spoke to Variety about the next season.
“ Sarah writes about Ivy like no other, and season four will explore Ivy even more,” Schumacker teased. “There’s his new role with the Legion of Doom. There’s something Justin and I wouldn’t have gone straight to – I’m trying not to spoil anything – but he’s done an amazing job. The show has benefited greatly from so many different female perspectives among the writers, and Sarah has always been pivotal. She wrote some of the most memorable episodes. She’s the one who brought Catwoman into the fold, she’s the one who wrote the Season 2 finale, the episode of the bachelorette party on Themyscira, and our Season 3 premiere Ivy’s understanding and ideas are things we certainly would never think about, and I’m excited for people to see that.”
Before saying goodbye, we remind you that Harley Quinn will continue under the DC Studios brand.
