Ghostbusters Legacy, The Director Shares The Sequel Set In A Post

Jason Reitman, director of Ghostbusters – Legacy (Ghostbuster: Afterlife in the original language), has just posted a photo that provides a first look at the set of the sequel arriving on December 20, 2023.

The image shows Reitman himself in company with Gil Kenan (co-writer of the 2021 film and the upcoming sequel) as they are in a fire station. So he writes in the introduction: ” Firehouse “, with the addition of a ghost emoji. The word refers to the film’s working title while suggesting a possible return to the famous New York setting and – specifically – to the Ghostbusters headquarters. And apparently, the franchise projects do not end here: Tom Rothman confirms more Ghostbusters sequels!

” It’s a real honor to grab the proton pack and get behind the camera for the next chapter in the Spengler family saga, ” said Kenan, who has previously worked on the likes of Monster House, Poltergeist, and Scream. go back to 1984, and tell the guy in the sixth row of Mann Valley West that he was going to direct a Ghostbusters movie one day… ”

Ernie Hudson, the historic interpreter of Winston Zeddemore, adds details on the film in the works: ” Jason Reitman – who was already part of the second film, because he is the child of the initial part – has left me a beautiful memory of when he was set of both films. I know he grew up on those stories, they are so important to him, and it’s no surprise that he wrote a great screenplay, let alone established himself as a top director. His skill knows no bounds, and when this all started, knowing that Jason was involved, I had a feeling that I was going to be excited about the result. When I first went on set and saw Sigourney Weaver, Bill [Murray] and Dan [Aykroyd]… well, it was an indescribable experience. I mean, I know it’s going to sound weird, but that little picture just moved me .”
