DC UNIVERSE, WHAT WILL BE THE FILM THAT WILL CLOSE THE OLD COURSE?

New year new life, but above all new DC Universe: the Warner franchise is close to complete renewal by James Gunn and Peter Safran, but first all the paperwork relating to that officially still ongoing cinematic universe will have to be closed. So what will be the ending of the (was) DC Extended Universe?

While James Gunn promises synergy with DC Comics for the future of the franchise, in fact, Warner Bros. Discovery prepares the last cartridges to shoot before starting the new cycle: we are talking, in this case, of Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, Blue Beetle, and, of course, the long-awaited and discussed The Flash.

According to the timeline of the releases and barring second thoughts, the farewell to the DC Extended Universe should be consummated on the occasion of Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom, the latest release scheduled by the production: in recent months, however, the belief has spread that it will be the film about the hero ( momentarily) played by Ezra Miller to act as a trigger for the reboot of the franchise through narrative devices not yet better specified.

It makes you smile to think that Jason Momoa himself, who will be responsible for bringing the curtain down on the DCEU, is the most quoted for a return in a new role (we are talking above all about Lobo): for these speeches, however, there will be time and place. Meanwhile, while fans attack, Zachary Levi defends James Gunn and Peter Safran, asking for patience before judging their work.
