Dc Universe: From Superman to Batman, All the Films Announced by James Gunn!

After a long wait and a lot of chatter, James Gunn and Peter Safran have finally revealed their plans for this first part of the DC Universe: Chapter 1 of the franchise will be titled Gods and Monsters and will bring some of the most awaited heroes back to the big screen for a start completely new after the farewell to the DC Extended Universe.
James Gunn had promised us great announcements for this Tuesday, and the promise has been punctually kept: we start with Superman: Legacy, which will introduce the new face (still unknown) of the Kryptonian hero after the painful farewell to Henry Cavill; to follow ready to welcome the new Batman and Robin, with this The Brave and the Bold which will be based on the beloved run by Grant Morrison.
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow will instead take its cue from Tom King’s comic of the same name and bring the story of Kara Zor-El to the big screen for the first time in almost 40 years: a film that Gunn and Safran have already described as decidedly more hardcore than everything we’ve ever seen on the DC superhero.
If that of Superman will not be an origin story, that of Swamp Thing will be: the film will try to give justice to the monstrous creature after the very unfortunate series distributed by Amazon in 2019. They will not be part of the DC Universe while remaining under the aegis of DC Studios, projects such as The Batman – Part II and Joker: Folìe a Deux, on which Gunn has confirmed he wants to continue working.
