Dc, James Gunn Reveals the Top 10 of the Most Loved Characters: “5 of These Will Debut?”

James Gunn, the co-CEO of DC Studios, has hinted that five characters from a new list of fan favorites could very soon join the new DC Cinematic Universe.

As you can see at the bottom of the article, IGN today conducted a poll to find out which characters fans want to see the most in the DCU since Gunn and Peter Safran shared the results on February 17, 2023. From most to least rated, the top 10 most-wanted by fans are Nightwing, Martian Manhunter, Lobo, Brainiac, Deathstroke, Red Hood, Zatanna, the Court of Owls, Mister Freeze, and John Constantine. In these hours the result has been re-shared by James Gunn’s Instagram account, with the new DC leader who wrote: ” 5 out of 10 will they make it? ”

We recall that the first wave of projects for Gunn and Safran’s new DCU was announced on January 31, 2023, and the title of ‘Phase 1’ of the saga, called ” Chapter 1: Gods & Monsters “. Following the previous DC management’s films set for release in 2023, namely Shazam! 2, The Flash, Blue Beetle, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, the saga will restart with the TV series Creature Commandos, Waller, Lanterns, Paradise Lost, and Booster Gold, and with the films Superman: Legacy, The Authority, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Supergirl and Swamp Thing.

The only project that has been given an official release date is Superman Legacy, and the aforementioned “fan favorite characters” have not been confirmed for any series or film as of this writing.
