Dc, Here We Are: the Announcement Soon, James Gunn Reveals How Many Projects Will Be Presented

After responding to disappointed fans who wouldn’t want to see famous Marvel actors move to DC, new DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn continued via social media to provide clues about the upcoming announcement for the saga’s future.

DC fans are waiting with bated breath to find out what James Gunn and Peter Safran have in store for the DC Universe, now that the duo serves as co-CEOs of DC Studios. On social media, in these hours, Gunn anticipated the upcoming updates on the franchise, specifying how many projects approximately will be revealed.

In a comment to his recent Instagram post, Gunn confirmed that he and Safran won’t reveal their 8-10 year plan this January, instead focusing ” just on a few first chapter projects ” in their franchise. In short, as expected, in this very first phase of DC’s ‘rebirth’, fans shouldn’t expect so much a complete and definitive line-up covering the entire next decade, as much as a first smattering that can suggest the decision taken by the two creators. It should also be noted that James Gunn did not use the term ‘Phase’, typical of Kevin Feige’s Marvel Studios, but ‘Chapter’, which however clearly must be understood in the same way.

The announcement is expected by the end of January, so there is very little left now: which DC projects do you expect to see by next Tuesday?
