Captain America: New World Order, Will There Also Be the Villain Diamondback?

After the entry into the cast of Xosha Roquemore, a new report would give for certain the presence of Diamondback, the iconic villain of Captain America in the comics, in Captain America: New World Order, the fourth chapter of the franchise and the first to see Anthony Mackie in the role of the protagonist of the title. The film should have more than just one villain.
According to Hollywood insider Daniel Richtman, Captain America: New World Order is expected to see the live-action debut of a female incarnation of Marvel villain Diamondback. Meanwhile, another insider calling himself “CanWeGetToast” on Twitter revealed that Diamondback is supposed to be a member of the Serpent Society.
According to reports, Marvel is looking for an actress in their 30s-35s for the role of Diamondback. The character of Captain America: New World Order is described as “a villain but also a possible love interest”, with the possibility of appearing in the future in other projects set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
As mentioned, Anthony Mackie will lead the cast of Captain America: New World Order, reprising his role from Sam Wilson. Details about the film have not been disclosed. Production is expected to begin in March for an expected release on May 3, 2024.
New World Order takes place after the Disney Plus series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which saw Sam Wilson take back the Captain America shield given to him by Steve Rogers in a post-Avengers: Endgame world. Harrison Ford’s Thunderbolt Ross and The Leader (Tim Blake Nelson) are expected to be the main villains of the film.
Captain America: New World Order will be directed by Julius Onah, who will be working from a screenplay by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson. The cast of the film also includes Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, and Shira Haas as Sabra.
