Bayern Munich announced Rummenigge’s early retirement from the club

The chairman of the board of FC Bayern Karl-Heinz Rummenigge will leave his post ahead of schedule on June 30, 2021, informs the official website of the German club.

Rummenigge is reportedly leaving the club on his own initiative. From July 1, his post will be taken by the ex-goalkeeper of the club Oliver Kahn.

Rummenigge’s contract with Bayern Munich was settled until December 31, 2021. He has held various management positions since 1991.
