Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, No Fantastic 4, Or Blade? Speak The Author

There’s a lot of anticipation for the Fantastic Four’s debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, especially to see the heroes interact with other Marvel Studios characters, but apparently, a crossover with the rest of the Avengers is still some way off.
According to what was declared in an interview with Gizmodo by the screenwriter of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Jeff Loveness, who is writing the fifth chapter of the Avengers saga, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, between Variants of Kang and the return of Namor, the development of the story would leave room for the appearance of the Fantastic Four (and also of Blade, another highly anticipated new entry of Phase 5) but the chances of this happening are slim if not zero.
Yes, it’s a complicated thing. But even when I took the job on Ant-Man, I didn’t want to focus on the many things outside the film. My job is just to lay the foundation for a good story and find the best characters to tell it. With these projects, it’s all a bit of a ping pong with the other authors of the other films if you know what I mean. I haven’t heard who is making the Fantastic Four and Blade films, but I won’t even use those characters anyway, most likely.”
Recall that when Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is released, currently scheduled for May 2, 2025, both Blade and the Fantastic Four will have already made their debut on the big screen at Marvel Studios, as the current release dates for the two projects fall on September 6, 2024, and November 8, 2024. Is Loveness bluffing, or will the time for these characters’ crossovers come with the next Avengers: Secret Wars? We’ll see.
