By now it is more than clear that Avengers Secret Wars will be the Endgame of these new phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The arrival of Kang certainly introduces a villain of the highest level. Several fans have begun to speculate who the three “key” heroes of Kang’s defeat might be.

The release of Ant-Man and The Wasp Quantumania introduces audiences to the power that the character can achieve. If Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, and Thor were the key to Thanos’ defeat in Avengers: Endgame, it seems that fans on social media are looking for their new Big Three to whom to entrust the fate of the entire universe (and of the multiverse, in this case). Reddit and Twitter are, of course, the most fertile fields in which these theories are born and grow.

The most popular name according to fans is certainly that of Scarlet Witch who has been defined as the most powerful being in the MCU. Her knowledge of the multiverse and chaos magic may be instrumental in defeating the one weaponized by time and the multiverse. Another possible contender could be Doctor Strange, not only for the role he played in Avengers Endgame but, above all, for the mystical baggage that he has carried with him since his introduction into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to many, Loki should conquer the last available slot. Although Tom Hiddleston’s anti-hero has become a TV personality, his knowledge of TVA and the fact that he was the first to interface with a variant of Kang could be essential.
