Apple TV + extends “See”: Season 2 in August
At the end of summer, Jason Momoa’s brutal apocalyptic journey on Apple TV + will finally continue. In line with this, the streaming provider “See” has now extended it for a further season.
It’s just a shame that Apple TV + is so badly under the radar, especially in this country. Everyone’s talking about Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney +, and the iPhone experts’ streaming service already has several gems in film and series entertainment in its repertoire. One of these great shows, which was released right at the launch of Apple TV + in early November 2019, is the dystopian sci-fi drama ” See: Realm of the Blind “.
Generations ago, all of humanity lost the ability to see. After the world was still on the brink for years, society has now recovered and found new ways to interact with one another, build settlements, hunt – and survive. In this world, it is Baba Voss, played by Jason Momoa, who must do everything possible to protect his twins. Because: Unlike the rest of humanity, his own children can see again.
In Season 2 of the series, the situation not only comes to a head but also signs up with Dave Bautista, a more than appropriate counterpart to Jason Momoa. Bautista will therefore play Edo Voss, the big brother of Momoas Baba. In the first trailer for the second season of “See: Empire of the Blind”, the Apple TV + from August 27th will be released weekly, as usual, Edo Voss announces himself at first sight as the new antagonist of the series. How exactly the relationship between the two brothers will affect the story remains to be seen for now.
As so often in the recent past, Apple took the opportunity to combine the release of the trailer with an announcement. In a press release, the streaming provider confirmed that “See: Empire of the Blind” will definitely have a third season. It is currently in production, and the location is in Toronto, Canada. One can only hope that Apple TV + will not let two years pass this time and that Season 3 will be presented to us next year instead.
