Anya Taylor-Joy replaces Emma Stone in The Menu, with Ralph Fiennes
Daniel Radcliffe could play his own role in this dark comedy with Anya Taylor-Joy.
Following the successes of Split, Peaky Blinders, and The Lady’s Game, Anya Taylor-Joy is multiplying projects these days. The 25-year-old actress will soon be starring in Last Night in Soho, Edgar Wright (the Cornetto Trilogy, Baby Driver ), The Northman, Robert Eggers ( The Witch, The Lighthouse ), and Canterbury Glass, David O. Russell ( Happiness Therapy ). The first two are filmed, the third is in the process of being produced and while waiting for the green light from Furiosa, the spin-off of Mad Max: Fury Road, of which she is to be the heroine, Deadlineannounces that it should follow up with The Menu, a black comedy worn by Ralph Fiennes. Emma Stone was supposed to play her role, but the actress had to withdraw, the production thought of her for this film by Mark Mylod ( Succession ) which will be co-produced by Adam McKay ( The Big Short ) and Betsy Koch, through their company Hyperobject Industries.

The plot of The Menu, written by Will Tracy and Seth Reiss, will follow a young couple visiting an upscale restaurant on an island, where a great chef (Fiennes) has concocted a special menu for his guests. Because around the table are several celebrities, including Daniel Radcliffe, the Harry Potter star, who is in talks to play his own role. If he signs, seeing him face Ralph -Voldemort- Fiennes again should be pretty funny!
