“Ant-man & the Wasp: Quantumania is Marvel’s Star Wars”: First Reactions!
After the publication of the new Ant-Man & The Wasp featurette Quantumania, the first reactions to the next Marvel Cinematic Universe film have emerged on the web, arriving in cinemas around the world from next week.
Contrary to what usually happens with Marvel Studios titles, the reactions have been quite mixed and not at all warm – in general, there is talk of a plot too engulfed by too much content, even if the most enthusiastic comments define ‘ Ant-Man 3 it Marvel’s Star Wars’ and the best of the Scott Lang trilogy – although virtually everyone who has seen the film beforehand agrees on one point: Jonathan Majors as Kang steals the show.
Some also appreciated the fact that the film – which will kick off Phase 5 of the MCU – seems to give a precise direction to the saga, introducing a ‘much broader narrative arc’ while managing to tell an autonomous story dedicated to the Ant-Man family (you may already know that Quantummania will be a ‘prelude’ to Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, as apparently confirmed by a recent leak on the future of the Marvel Universe ).
