Ant-man and the Wasp Quantumania, How Long is the Film With Paul Rudd?

The third chapter of the Ant-Man saga takes the name of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and will be in theaters from February 15, 2023. The participation of Jonathan Majors, combined with interesting plot developments, makes the wait anxious; but what is the exact playing time of the film?

The new Marvel product will last 125 minutes, or 2 hours and 5 minutes. A similar figure is slightly higher than that of the two previous films, namely Ant-Man (117 minutes, 1 hour, and 57 minutes) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (118 minutes, 1 hour, and 56 minutes).

The news is comforting, but some fans disagree: for them, the story that will see Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne face the Quantum Realm, a new version of Kang the Conqueror, and all the other elements that foreshadow the new film Avengers should have had much more playing time. One possible explanation is that the danger isn’t insurmountable just yet — for Kevin Feige, Kang has yet to regain his power in Ant-Man 3.

At the moment, the plot previews suggest that the two protagonists will be sucked into the Quantum Realm due to Cassie’s (Kathryn Newton) invention, only to discover the civilization that dwells there. Among the inhabitants, we especially remember Bill Murray’s Krylar (an aristocrat who may have had an affair with Janet), MDORK (mechanical organism designed to kill), and of course Kang (played by Jonathan Majors), a supervillain from the 30th century with the ability to travel across time and dimensions. The version of the antagonist present in Ant-Man 3 is just one of many versions, increasingly developed until Avengers: Kang Dynasty, released on May 2, 2025.
