ANT-MAN 3 MERCHANDISING REVEALS CASSIE’S SUPERHERO NAME IN THE MCU FILM
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be one of the flagship titles of 2023 in the MCU and the imminent arrival of the film in theaters has increased exponentially the merchandising material that will flood the market in the coming weeks. Among the Disney products in the film, you can see detail about Cassie.
It has long been rumored that the character played by Kathryn Newton will have a particular superhero name in the third chapter of the Scott Lang saga.
The images published on social media in the last few hours, however, show that even in that version Cassie will be called … simply Cassie.
In the comics, the character is called Stature or Stinger while in the film she should not change her name, based on what is shown in the images on Twitter that you find at the bottom of the news.
A substantial difference compared to Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) who becomes Ant-Man and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) who becomes Wasp.
Peyton Reed says Cassie Lang would have turned 18 in the film, about the various time jumps made Ant-Man and the Wasp and Avengers: Endgame. Bill Murray will also be in Ant-Man 3.
After the events of Endgame, Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne along with Scott’s daughter Cassie and Hope’s parents Hank and Janet find themselves trapped by chance in the quantum realm and are forced to face a new enemy: Kang the Conqueror.
